UCLA
Berkeley
USC
U. of Chicago
Northwestern

Thanks!

I think Chicago, Northwestern and Pomona are probably reaches, only because your AP scores are not that high and you do not have any SAT subjects. UCLA and UC Berkeley depend on whether you’re in state; if you are, you’ll probably get in. If not, it might be a reach. I’m pretty confident you’ll get into the rest of the schools on that list though.

I’m taking the SAT subjects in September. Sorry, didn’t make that clear.

AP exam scores and SAT Subject Tests are not that important for an application.

Bump

10char

Pomona- in
Claremont Mckenna- low reach
Pitzer- low match
Wheaton College (IL)- low match
UCLA- match (All of the UC’s are hard for non- residents)
Berkeley- high match
USC- high match
U. of Chicago- low reach
Northwestern- reach

Chance back please

Pertaining to gsrskier’s comment, I honestly am baffled how one can label CMC a low reach and say that Pomona is a match.

even though UCHicago doesn’t require subject tests should u take them anyway?

^ If you think you can score well on them, then why not? More (positive) information can only improve their opinion of you as an applicant.

Your AP scores and weighted GPA indicate that there is quite a bit of grade inflation at your high school.

can sum1 chance me?

Bsmd11,

I took the tests under unique circumstances, of which I would not like to disclose. According to teachers from my school, we have low, if not the lowest, grade inflation in the district.

^Sure, that may be the case. I do not doubt you. But I was trying to give you the perspective of an admissions officer.
