Hm, tough. Great GPA and perfect rank. Great ACT. You really need those SAT Subject tests. It also sucks you don’t have any 5s on AP tests. You should stand a great chance at every one of those. Stanford is a reach for everyone. The real problem is how are you going to pay for these colleges!! Maybe that egyptian heritage puts you over the top… hahahaha.

i think you have an extremely good chance of getting into USC with your EC’s and scores, and a good chance of getting into pomona. as for stanford, i think its a reach, but definitely possible. i dont know enough about the rest of the schools, but you should be fine good luck!

Your stats look good for these schools! Stanford and pomona, I’d say are a little bit reach but definitely possible!
goood luck with your schools! make sure u have a safety

-Pomona 50 %
-CMC 50
-Stanford 40% (egyptians can be considered african URMs this would give you a huge boost here)
-University of Chicago 50%
-USC 70%
-Northwestern 50%

Yea count on your SAT II raising your chances other than that looks like a solid application! I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks! I love the percentage breakdown. Regarding Egyptians being considered African URMs, I really wish you were right, but I highly doubt it. I am actually Coptic, and Copts trace their roots to ancient Egypt, not the Arabs that came in after the 7th century.

-Pomona - High Match/Low Reach
-Claremont Mckenna - High Match/Low reach
-Stanford - Truly a crapshoot (High Match/Low Reach)
-University of Chicago - High Match
-USC - Match
-Northwestern - Low Reach

Good Luck!

Remember to chance me back at this link please! Much appreciated:

Your GPA/Class Rank are perfect. Unfortunately I am not too familiar with ACT scores but the SAT scores don’t seem quite high enough. Here’s what I think of your schools though:

Pomona: only on grades, 50%, but essays might bump you up if they are stellar.
CMC: 60%
Stanford: 30%, this school is just so impossible to get into it seems. I’m actually applying there myself. The supplement is pretty lengthy so just make sure you can get as much of your personality in there. good luck.
University of Chicago: 50% essay is very important for this college, especially the supplement one I feel. they’re a little on the quirky side when it comes to admissions from what i’ve heard so make sure your more than just grades in your app.
USC: 70% this should be the easier of the lot to get into for you
Northwestern: this college i know the least about even though it is seemingly so competitive. couldn’t tell you very much.

have you taken your sats just once? i got a 1980 the first time and a 2310 the second so it really does help i think. just some food for thought. Good Luck!

Thanks, that was a great breakdown. A 33 on the ACT correlates approximately to a 2180-2190 SAT score. I have only taken it once, so I will be taking it again in December.

it will be extremely hard to get into stanford without SAT subject tests. Yes-Pomona, CMC. No- Standford. 80% Yes–University of Chicago and Northwestern, USC- safety school

“Pomona 50 %
-CMC 50
-Stanford 40% (egyptians can be considered african URMs this would give you a huge boost here)
-University of Chicago 50%

"-Pomona - High Match/Low Reach
-Claremont Mckenna - High Match/Low reach
-Stanford - Truly a crapshoot (High Match/Low Reach)
-University of Chicago - High Match

-Northwestern - Low Reach"

“Pomona-Reach

Stanford-extremely high reach
University of Chicago-high match

“it will be extremely hard to get into stanford without SAT subject tests. Yes-Pomona, CMC. No- Standford. 80% Yes–University of Chicago and Northwestern, USC- safety school”

What?

"Probably can get into USC and and cmc not sure about the rests. Those 3s on your ap classes might affect you. Chance me back please "

OP does not have to report AP scores. It is self report.
