still looking for a safety (recommendations?)

Hey, can you chance me back?

anyways, I think you have a lot of good statistics, except is the GPA you listed your unweighted, or weighted? If it is unweighted, then I’d say you’re solid for Hopkins, UVA, and Wash U. Brownwould be a a bit of a reach though with an SAT under 2200. But still definitely have a good chance. If that’s your weighted GPA, then all of these schools are reaches. UVA and Hopkins and Wash U you’d still have a pretty good chance, but the rest would be huge long shots. I am sorry, I Dont know really anything about Tufts or Colby, and Bowdoin from what I hear, is the most selective school in the nation, but since you’re from Maine, I dont know how that changes. Chance back(link is above)
Also, you may want to have a school like UVermont or something as a safety.

UVA (EA)-Have you visited UVA? If so I think you have a match! hahaha, they love high SAT scores, so I would say you have a good chance. The only thing that will hurt you is that you don’t live in Va.
Brown-Reach, but that’s a reach for most people…
Colby-Never heard of…
Bowdoin-Never heard of…
Johns Hopkins-You have a good chance, but it is a selective school for sure…
WUSTL-No nothing about…
Tufts-Reach. From what I have heard that’s a hard school to get into. It’s not that you don’t have what it takes. It’s just how selective it is…

Chance me back? :D

Yes 3.85 would be an unweighted approximation, my actual gpa is on a 100 point scale. I have a 94 unweighted and a 121 weighted. 1.3 x grade in an honors class, 1.35 x grade in an AP class.
Also class rank is top 15%

Furthermore I am not applying for financial aid anywhere

UVA (EA)- Could be a Safety
Brown- Reach
Colby-N/A
Bowdoin-N/A
Johns Hopkins- Mid Reach
WUSTL- Match
Tufts- Reach

UVA (EA)- Could be a Safety
Brown- Reach

Bowdoin-N/A
Johns Hopkins- Mid Reach
WUSTL- Match
Tufts- Reach

UVA (EA) - low reach
Brown - high reach
Johns Hopkins - high match
Tufts-high match

Your SAT scores seem a bit low but your ECs do make up a bit for them and your essays, depending on how good they are, should bring you up a bit as well. But liek others say, Brown is still a reach for anyone and Tufts often is very unpredictable.

UVA (EA) - high match
Brown - high reach
Johns Hopkins - mid match
Tufts-high match

Your SAT scores are pretty high up there but your SAT2 scores could be a little higher. Your EC can make you stand out. What’s your class rank? If you’re in the top 10% you could really increase your chances. Also, try adding some community service hours and you’ll really round yourself out. If possible, try setting up some interviews with your reach schools so they can see how you are in person rather than just on paper.

chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1252641-chances-getting-into-bu-one-more-year-highschool-go.html

Yeah brown is definitely a reach, I am only applying there a. for fun and b. because I am a quintuple legacy
I’ve gotten many mixed results on UVA, thats my top choice, it is under my impression that is very selective if youre out of state, comments?
