I was almost scared to ask, because I know my chances arent great, but I needed to know if I have any shot at all transferring to Emory/Vanderbilt/UVA. I chose those schools because they are transfer friendly (Vandys acceptance rate close to 50% and Emory/UVA are in high 30s) and they are great schools for studying business. Also somewhat interested in Texas and UNC. Im transferring as a junior and will be applying directly to Goizuetta and McIntire business schools.

-HS GPA: 3.5 (Several APs from private HS +Middle college program senior year)

-College GPA: 3.33 at Public SEC uni (TN) but 3.96 this last semester. I know I have a low GPA but I intend to explain that as best I can in the transfer apps. I didnt discover my passion for finance until recently(bombed first semester as engineering major) but since that first semester I have shown significant improvement, almost every semester is stronger than the last, especially the most recent one (3.96 gpa taking 19 hours). Also I have excellent grades in business/finance courses (which are in my major) and have taken a reasonably rigerous schedule.
