chance me for transfer to emory, vandy, UVA

I was almost scared to ask, because I know my chances aren’t great, but I needed to know if I have any shot at all transferring to Emory/Vanderbilt/UVA. I chose those schools because they are transfer friendly (Vandy’s acceptance rate close to 50% and Emory/UVA are in high 30’s) and they are great schools for studying business. Also somewhat interested in Texas and UNC. I’m transferring as a junior and will be applying directly to Goizuetta and McIntire business schools.

-HS GPA: 3.5 (Several APs from private HS +Middle college program senior year)

-College GPA: 3.33 at Public SEC uni (TN) but 3.96 this last semester. I know I have a low GPA but I intend to explain that as best I can in the transfer apps. I didn’t discover my passion for finance until recently(bombed first semester as engineering major) but since that first semester I have shown significant improvement, almost every semester is stronger than the last, especially the most recent one (3.96 gpa taking 19 hours). Also I have excellent grades in business/finance courses (which are in my major) and have taken a reasonably rigerous schedule.

-Great letters of rec.
-Awesome essays
-ACT: 31
-SAT: Math-730 Reading-710 Writing-710

ECs:
-Student-run investment fund- managing portfolio worth 600k with 6 or 7 other students-competing with other schools.
-Investment Club and econ club
-Debate team
-United Way volunteer and volunteer with local recreation org
-A Few academic awards and academic scholarships.
-Eagle scout

anybody? especially interested in chance at vandy.

I would say that your chances for UVA are lower than the statistic cited. I believe they have guaranteed admissions agreements with in state CCs that result in fairly high transfer acceptance rate.

Emory is “transfer friendly”, but transferring into the business school is tougher than transferring into Emory.

ive given up on UVA but Im on the fence with whether its worth applying to Emory and Vandy. Anyone have an opinion about my chances at those 2, especially vandy.
