Im planning on transferring into landscape architecture or environmental design at UC Davis for fall of 2016 if i get in from a CCC. I currently have a 2.96 GPA but after this fall if all goes according to plan I can reach a 3.41 gpa for my transfer academic update. The reason my gpa is so low now is because I screwed up one physics class and got a D other wise my gpa would be pretty decent. Right now I am currently retaking the physics class and it should be an easy A.
I have pretty decent extra curricular and am working two jobs: computer repair and I’m a waiter. I also am starting cofee roasting company with some friends. My personal statement is pretty strong also.
I took all my college classes during high school as a part time student at my community college. I completed about 40 units and ill have about 60 - 70 by the end of spring 2016.
What are my chances of getting into UC davis??
just curious
Also im starting an internship with a construction company who designed and build about 5 of the buildings at uc davis
Your GPA is all I have to go off here, and it’s not looking pretty. You can’t expect anything going to plan, because, well, life, so I can’t really accept that you’ll raise your GPA by that substantial of an amount. Your ECs don’t really seem like a standout to me, either. It all depends on how much you raise your GPA by.
i calculated what my gpa would be this semester with straight As and it said 3.41. My Gpa only fell because i got a D in one class worth 5 units
which i am retaking
i also am a ccc student with over 100 hours of comunity service and won a few championships for volleyball. And my personaly statment is amazing. working 2 jobs and one internship with structural engineers
