Chance me for transferring to UMich

Hi everyone! I am currently going into my sophomore year at Penn State in the College of Information Sciences and Technology, and I am interested in transferring into UMich’s School of information for my Junior Year (Fall 2017 will be the first time external transfers can transfer directly into it). If anyone can chance me it will be greatly appreciated.

GPA After Freshman Year at PSU: 3.25 (Planning on getting this higher since I still have a semester before applying)

Involved with several clubs and other extracurriculars on campus

The School of Information’s BSI program is still relatively new, so this may be tough to “chance”. I had friends apply to SOI and gain admittance, but they were all current UofM students, but within a different school/college. They mostly had 3.5+ GPAs, so I would really try to get your GPA up as much as you can, and present yourself well in your application.
