You will get in.

You’re gonna be fine

Trinity is a safety for you and you should be trying for places like Richmond and Holy Cross

lol i tried for brown and uchicago and was rejected. im shooting for dartmouth next

Trinity used to be really easy to get in with its 43% acceptance rate but that rate dropped to 27% last year when there was a 47% increase in the application number. So I am not so sure that anyone can say you would get in right off the bat like that. Forget your poor ACT score then you stand a good chance providing you dont expect too much financial aid from them.

And not sure about richmond. if got accepted and love Virginia then you should go. But i doubt about holy cross since so many people here declined holy cross to attend trinity

Hello, does anyone know by chance, as my friend was wondering, if Yale happens to have any connection with Trinity ie do they do any activities together or go to parties with them? Thank you

Don’t know about the Yale connection, but I would say you have a very good shot at Trinity. Your EC’s are substantial, which should offset the ACT. If you do get WL, and don’t have other options, sign up for the WL – they are known for going to the WL (at least that’s what happened last year).

thanks for your input!!

Richmond is much better than Trinity and i sincerely doubt that someone would choose Trinity over Holy Cross. Trinity is on a par with Conn College, Lafayette and Union

Richmond and Holy Cross much higher ranked than Trinity.

Trinity is ranked 37 by US News & World Reports.

Richmond is ranked 27th and Holy Cross is ranked 29th.

None. But if you happen to have friends there, it’s easy to get to by train.

They do happen to be big squash rivals, though!

A lot of people choose Trinity over HC (absolutely not saying that all do). Campuses have a really different vibe.

I would say your chances are that you SHOULD get in. Doesn’t mean you will, but your stats fit well inside the school’s profile.

I wouldn’t say you’re a “shoo-in” but if you apply to Trinity and two other schools that also fit that profile, you’re likely to get into 2/3. Good luck!

Thank you! :)

NO CHANCE for Dartmouth!

awesome thanks.

updates on trinity?
have similar stats, and want to apply ED 2012

haven’t heard yet… 3 days! I’ll let you know!
