okayyy so i know that is a lot but anything would be so appreciated!

Your EC's will likely get you in. Tulane wants people who will get involved. Your SAT's (1310/1930) puts you in the lower - middle of the pack. Try to get your GPA up a little -- a 3.3 is probably a B/B plus average. That is your downside right now.

Although, you are probably in, (African-American from Cincinnatti helps also), your SAT's and GPA are probably not high enough for an academic scholarship. Without one, its 45K a year - unless you can get a needs-based scholarship! You should contact Tulane early to feel them out and see if you are at least eligible for 18K - - unless money is no object.

It's hard to say because of the huge jump in applications last year. According to the current stats you'd be a reach based solely on your numbers, but your EC's will give you a big boost. There is also the possibility that last year's huge increase in applications could be a one year aberration. You should definitely apply, I wouldn't expect any merit aid though. But the school does offer very good need based aid. I had $20k of need based scholarships my senior year.

Definitely apply. Your chances are very decent -- not a "lock" by any means, but very decent.

I GOT IN!
thank you all :)

Hi,
Congratulations on your offer of admission to Tulane! I also applied to Tulane.
I have the same SAT's as you. I also applied early action! My Gpa is 4.8 W and 4.0 UW. Can you tell me please if you received any scholarships because we have the same SAT's? Also, how long did it take for you to find out?
Thank you! :)
