Your GPA is headed in the right direction. I expect you’ll finish strong again this Spring?

Your EC’s are very good and interesting in my opinion.

Your ACT is very good but, under the assumption that every little bit helps, it couldn’t hurt to study a little more over the summer to see if you could get it to a 34-35?

Cultivate recommenders who can write well and who will really provide a clear picture of how you are a great candidate for UChicago (i.e. you love learning, you are intellectually curious, etc).

Then it will be your essays. I guess you can’t pre-write them before the topics come out. But perhaps you can do some thinking and research on how to do this. But the most important thing on these essays will be to start early, revise, but do this while not submerging the real you and sounding trite and / or phony.

Since UChicago doesn’t have ED, I think your chances are slim to none.

I’m assuming you mean EA, not ED since there’s no ED at UofC. Nice EC’s. Your ACT is okay. Your GPA might kill you, but it might be okay since you’re in the top 10% on an upward trend. If you write stellar essays, you’ll have a shot.
