Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they think my chances are for admission into Berkeley and UCLA.

I'm a community college student who lives in California. I'm majoring in Physics, and my GPA is 4.0 (so far).

All of my general requirements have been fulfilled. As for the courses toward my major, I've only completed 3 out of 9 of them, meaning that I will have to take 6 courses next year. I enrolled in 3 courses last semester and received W grades since I withdrew for a medical reason.

I am going to spend a total of 3 years at the community college. The reasons I'm spending so much time are 1) I've also been attending Court Reporting school, and 2) I took quite some time to decide on a major.

I'm not sure whether SAT scores are relevant since I'm a transfer student, but my score was 2130.

The thing that troubles me is that I haven't done much (read: anything) in the way of volunteer work since high school. Should I include high school volunteer work and extracurriculars in my application? Would it look bad to quickly become involved in extracurriculars this summer? The application deadline is in September.

(I am also applying to UCI, which has a transfer agreement with my community college, but I would like some input regarding my chances for Berkeley and UCLA.)
