Chance me for UC Berkeley

I'm currently a high school senior and have always wanted to attend Berkeley, but I know that is very difficult...please chance me based on my information below...

a-g GPA (weighted) 3.65
a-g GPA (unweighted) 3.4 (I think they only look at your weighted a-g, but just fyi)
hs GPA (weighted) 3.75
hs GPA (unweighted) 3.6

SAT Reasoning: Haven't got my scores but hopefully at least 1700, I'll take it again to improve my score by a least 200pts
SAT Subject: US History 650 (haven't taken my second yet)
Just took my ACT, I'll prob retake them to get them to the equivalent of a 2000 SAT score.

Have taken a total of 10 semesters AP/Honors courses...
took two AP's last year passed the one that everyone fails at my school (AP Environmental)
Failed the one that everyone passes (AP US History)
I'm taking 4 AP exams this May

No Athletics, but President of one club, VP of another, involved in several clubs overall including Improv, Amnesty, Model UN...I've also been an actor in short films, had a webshow...took a trip with Close Up to DC for the Inauguration. I was an Intern for a Congresswomen this past summer

I'm first generation American and College student

Chance me please...

You need a very, very special “Leadership” essay.

haha, thanks…I wrote an essay about my experiances as an intern, is that the sort of leadership you mean?

Probably no chance – with that GPA and a 1700 SAT, your essays won’t matter much at all.

I know it will be near impossible, but i plan to improve my SAT score to 2000…and have a lot of interesting extra-curriculars. Would you happen to know which GPA they look at?
a-g weighted? hs?

You have a chance, just get a HIGHER SAT SCORE

If you do that you might be able to get in.

They look at the UC GPA.

The UC GPA:

10th and 11th grade only

A-G courses only

One bonus GPA point for up to eight semesters of AP, IB or UC-approved honors courses taken in 10th and 11th grade. No more than two courses in 10th grade are granted the extra point. Honors courses must be listed as UC-approved honors courses on your high school’s Doorways course listing to earn the extra point.
