Chances for Berkeley?

<p>Hi, I'm going to be a senior (in high school of course) in the upcoming school year and was wondering what my chances for UC: Berkeley would be.</p>

<p>My Stats:</p>

<p>GPA: Unweighted ~3.70
Weighted ~ 4.0</p>

<p>SAT I: 2120 (Retaking in October)
Math - 690 Verbal - 720 Writing - 710</p>

<p>SAT IIs: 1530
Math IIc - 750
U.S. History - 780</p>

<p>APs: Taking 4 more this year
U.S. History - 4
English Composition - 4
Calculus AB - 5
Art History - 4</p>

<p>ECs: Boy Scouts of America - 9th-12th
Orchestra (Section Leader 9th) - 9th-12th
Student Government (Secretary) - 12th
School Newspaper - 12th
"We The People" Constitution Team - 12th
Bowling Club (Secretary) - 10th, 12th
Staffer at Anime Expo - 10th - 12th
Consistent community service through various clubs and Boy Scouts.</p>

<p>Awards: Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout
Honor Roll (Consistent throughout HS)
Rotary Youth Leadership Award - 11th</p>

<p>I would say you have a decent chance at UCB. Just write some killer essays which i'm sure you are capable of =)</p>

<p>If you're in state, I'll agree with zh0u and flopsy. Otherwise, it'll be hard.</p>

<p>yeah if you are in-state...I would say 50/50. Remember, the avg Berkeley admit has a weighted GPA of 4.26, but you are certainly well above average in other areas.</p>

<p>Would I have a chance at any Ivy? In particular Penn. This is considering that I'm a native born Asian-American.</p>
