I'm only a freshman but I want to see if I'm on the right track. I'm going to Mt. SAC which is a CCC and I also wanna transfer to UCLA, Cal Poly SLO, and USC.

Major: Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
GPA: 3.7 and hope to get to 3.8 after this semester.
EC's: Alpha Gamma Sigma (Honors Society), Hospital Volunteer, Homeless Shelter Volunteer, Engineering Club, Student Government, and I work at Industrial/Manufacturing Facility that manufactures and distributes parts for aircraft. I also plan on joining honors next year and joining TAP for UCLA as well.

What else should I do to be competitive before I transfer?

Can somebody please chance me nobody ever responds to me, i promise i’ll chance you back!

I think you have a shot of getting accepted by at least 1 of the UCB/UCLA/CalPoly group. For UCLA, go to their website and look at their transfer student stats BY SPECIFIC MAJOR to see how competitive you are… some majors a mere 3.4 is competitive, other majors one needs a 3.9 to be competitive. The web page is not too hard to find on the UCLA transfer page.

I also think you have a better than average chance at USC with a 3.7… but again, you need to see if you can find stats specific to your major.

Definitely add 1 or 2 safeties and maybe another strong match. Davis, Santa Clara University both come to mind a solid matches.
