Engineering transfer with a 3.0. Chances?

I'm hoping to transfer from CC to a UC/CSU for mechanical engineering.

GPA: 3.0

I got all of the math and physics out of the way early ( I think that hurt my grades a bit)

I got mostly C's in all Calc and higher math classes, except for a B in Calc 1.

I got a
-(A) in physics 1,
-(B) in physics 2
-Am currently taking physics 3 (will probably end up with an A)

ECs
-Work 20+ hours since sophomore years in HS
-volunteered at local library for a couple months
-football in HS
-active at my CC's MESA club

My Personal Statements were solid. I wrote about how my interest for engineering started for the first prompt. I wrote about my hardships for the second promt. I was nearly homeless, siblings with health problems, etc.

I applied to:
-UCB (no need to chance me on this, I already know lol)
-UCD
-UCSB
-UCSD
-San Jose state
-Cal Poly SLO
-SF state

I'm hoping to go to a UC, I think my best chance is Davis or maybe SB. I had San Jose state as my fallback but now I think I might not get accepted there either. Any thoughts or experiences of someone getting accepted to any of those schools for engineering with a similar GPA ( without TAG) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
