Chance me for UCHI?

I am having trouble deciding whether I apply ED to Uchi or Columbia (If i decide to do the student-debt route). Would I have a good chance of being accepted to Uchi? Here are my stats (I’m a junior)
I think I want to apply to Columbia ED 2023 and don’t know if I’d get in. Sorry if there’s no way I can get in and I just have an inflated ego
Objective: I don’t know what I exactly want to major in, but if I went to Columbia, I’d either do neuroscience and behavioral studies, psychology, or poli sci! I want to go to law school and be a medical malpratice/ class action

SAT I: not taking
ACT: 32 (33 English, 31 Math, 30 Reading, 33 Science) (This will be going up at least one point)
SAT II: not taking
weighted GPA (out of 100) 95.5 (upward trend) (Hardest course load possible)
Unweighted GPA (out of 100) 94 (upward trend)
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): Unranked
AP (place score in parenthesis): Including senior year APS: AP LANG, APUSH, AP CHEM, AP LIT, AP GOV, (AP BIO OR AP PHYSICS), AP CALC AB, AP SPANISH
Major Awards: nothing major, gone to state every year on the horn, member of youth symphony, at least 1x national champion brass band member,
Subjective:

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Tri-M honors society (Chance of being President), 4 years of band (Chance of being President), School Leader (won’t know exact role yet), Catholic School Gay, will be in NHS and Science NHS, started a staff interview column for our website, going to create a mock trial club
Job/Work Experience: A LOT! (I have to pay for my gas) Baseball fields, age 15 (left at end of the season). Panera, ~ 11 months (Quit because scheduling became a MESS and I already have a busy schedule), Local ice cream place, ~ one month (Unprofessional), Target: about 1 month so far, I’m planning on staying even after high school if I can (did you guys know target pledged to raise their mini wage to $15 by 2020? I’m making BANK and my pay is going up year by year)
Volunteer/Community service: Will have about 200 hours done at local youth court and truancy panels, also will become a part of a victim assistance project for my county (I also do a little bit of stuff here and there like Alex’s lemonade stand/ preparing food for kids cancer ward parents, but don’t know whether I should include that. I feel like it might seem like I do all of this because I want to seem like a good person when I actually just want to help out)
Summer Activities: Travelling to Austria with a local youth symphony, might be doing a Chicago course this summer if I’m accepted?
Essays: Obviously not written yet, but I have a good idea of what I want to write about and I’m confident in my writing abilities, might talk about how I used to feel a desire to not fit the stereotype of being gay but now I embrace it, or how coming out was not as big of a deal as I expected it to me.
Teacher Recommendation: They will be excellent, even though my grades aren’t as perfect as my friends (I’m talking over 100 gpas, thank god my school does not rank), I pride myself on having really strong relationships with teachers and actually being friends with them.
Counselor Rec: This is iffy, do not talk to my counselor a lot but she likes me.

Other

State (if domestic applicant): Kansas
School Type: Private School
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Male
Income Bracket: $200,000+ (Sucks, I barely fit the 200,000+ territory, I do need aid)
Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Gay (not that it will do much), Play the French horn (I know this does NOT account for much, but I’m good and planning on obtaining a concentration in music if accepted), I’m a good person
Should I tell them I own a meme page on Instagram that has 13k followers since Uchi has a thing for quirky applicants? (I post appropriate stuff so it would be ok if they found it)

When you copy and pasted this from the Columbia forum you forgot to change some of the places where you said you want to go to Columbia to UChicago. If you do that on any essays you really won’t have a chance.

Re-post after your retake the ACT. Right now your score is below the 25th percentile for both schools.

I don’t remember what SATII will add some value to the equation, but you should look into it.

Chicago looked at your essay seriously, so, you should concentrate on it if you decided on the school.

Both schools have good neuroscience department, but if you are premed, with an ACT 32, you will have hard time to get good grades in either schools. Suggest you try some lower ranking schools so you could excel better or get more As. You should be in the top 25% of entering students’ stats for premed.

Thanks for pointing that out! For whatever schools I plan to apply to that have supplements, I’m intending on making a separate one for each so hopefully I won’t do that!

I’m actually pre-law! Does that make a difference?

Law is about as bad. Gpa matters a little less, but the LSAT is harder id say. This is subjective though.
