I know my chances are very slim but I want to know is there anything I can do to improve? I am retaking the SATs again in November so what score would I need to get to be considered with the credentials etc that I have and would taking the sats in november be too late for early admissions? Or will I be okay?

Thanks everyone who chances me I really appreciate it!

you would probably need a pretty high SAT to offset those grades. Your GPA and SAT are unfortunately very low.

Well first off you have great course rigor. Unfortunately, you took to many AP’s than you could handle and it has taken a toll on your GPA. Im not sure what happened with your SATs for someone with your courseload but you are gonna have to kill the SATs like over a 2000 for a chance with your gpa. Luckily you are instate though which will help but with the SAT currently you stand a slimmm chance.

UConn no longer has Early Action, and even when they did, November would be plenty of time to get scores. Their deadline for all students, except special programs in January 15th.

To make it into the middle range (25-75%) you’ll need to pull you math score up to around 600, and reading to 550. That’s a big jump - big enough that the College Board may question your new scores if you manage to do that well. You certainly appear to have a rigorous schedule, but you haven’t done particularly well in those classes.

Have you considered Southern Connecticut? You might have a better shot there. If it has to be UConn, you might consider community college for a year and then transfer in.

Thanks for replying guys, really appreciate it! Yeah ive been studying hard for sats and managed to score an average of 1650-1750 on a few practice tests recently plus have been doing well senior year (not sure if they would consider that)

But thanks again!
