Chances at UCONN?

1st gen. Asian male, CT resident

GPA 3.77
Rank ~30/250 (12%)
(GPA and rank may change at the end of this year)

SAT (first time)
M: 580
V: 570
W: 480

EC's: At the end of senoir year it will be 2 years cross country and 4 years track. 60 community service hours. (graduation requirment)

SAT's are kind of low. I'm waiting on the June 3rd scores. I might take it again in the fall. Other than those two sports, and those service hours (required) I don't have many EC's. BTW What other colleges should I also apply to? I think I'd like to stay in the Northeast.

GPA helps. SAT is low. I suggest you retake and aim for mid 17's. ECs are lacking. Good chance if you keep up some stuff.

my sister didnt get in with similar SATs, but you have a much better gpa, so you do have a shot. take a look at the other state schools in new england- they are all easier to get into than uconn.

UConn admission is getting harder, but you have a good shot. You definitely need to raise the SAT scores (try to get W above 550, and while you're at it, you should try and raise the others above 600).

I'm not sure where else you could apply, sorry.
