I would say in state you would have a decent shot…but with out of state it will be questionable for UCLA and UCSD…davis and irvine you have a good shot

Being out of state actually gives you an edge in applying to California public universities. Because of steep cuts in their budgets the state schools are desperate for cash. Therefore they are favorabley disposed to OOS applicants who pay $26,000 in tuition compared to California residents who pay about $11,000 a year for a UC and $7,000 for a CSU.

And here is the catch: I’ll have a resident by late november/early december, so I actually won’t be paying out of state tuition (or maybe only one year’s worth).

Then again, I’ll be paying CA taxes because I will have a residency.

Terrible bump, my score was mixed with my brothers somehow (zzz) so I got 610 in CHEM and 720 in MATH…how much would this affect my application now? I’ve past the deadline for december sat and I really don’t want to bother studying chem again…I was thinking maybe lit but I didn’t do so hot on CR so…man.
