Hey there. I got in with a 3.75 UW and 4.12 W UC gpa along with a 1500 on the SAT. With that being said clap it up for yourself because you blew my scores and extracuriculars out of the water. I believe you have all the qualifications and potientials to get in. My advice is to write an essay that shows them and all the other schools what sets you apart from all the other applicants. The main things you want to show is motivation, triumph, and that the essay is not so much about academics (because they already see that) but you as a person. I can not stress enough how many applicants are smart but lack the most important thing of all COMMON SENSE. They can tell from the essays. Pardon my French but it is always a bonus to know your ass from a hole in the ground. Trust and believe because those elements in my essay got me into UCLA as well. Write your genius heart out asap. Have people rate them and help fix errors. The future is unwritten however I know you’ll go far. Remember you have no control over who they chose but you have the chance to influence them to, so dont stress thats dumb and it’s nice to be alive.
