Chance me for UCSD? Which other UC's should I apply to?

Preferably, I want to get into UC San Diego. If i am not accepted, I will be attending San Diego State University as my safety school. If there’s a chance of me getting into any other UC schools such as UCI or UCLA, then please do tell.

I am a junior in high school applying for schools in the fall.

Here are my current stats:

Unweighted: 3.8
Weighted: 4.1
UC Weighted: 4.03

Currently looking to major in Biomedical Engineering

-One C - second semester algebra, taken in middle school.

-2 AP Classes & 2 Honors Classes: AP World History (Passed with a 3), AP U.S. History(Currently Taking), Pre.Cal Honors, Anatomy Honors

-PSAT Score: 1550
I will be taking the official SAT in June of this year.

  1. Spoke about how I grew up in two separate households, as my parents have been divorced ever since I was a baby. Told of how the contrasting lifestyles of my parents had allowed me to develop two different perspectives on the world.

GPA on target, SAT is low. Aim for a 2000+ to be competitive for UCSD. For UCLA, aim for a 2100+ and UCI around 1900+ to ensure a good chance. I would also include UCSC/UCR as possible Match schools. Much will depend upon your essays, SAT score and EC’s but SDSU looks like a solid Match. Good Luck.
