Hello, my name is Garrett. I am applying to UIUC as an out-of-state transfer student for the Fall 2021 term, it is one of my 3 transfer options.

Here are my stats:

Collegiate GPA: 3.66 (After Fall 2020 Grades, A, B, A, A, B, A)
High School GPA: 3.2 (after raising from a 2.9 at the start of senior year with all As and a few Bs).
SAT: 1140
Took a college-level math and writing course and passed with a grade ‘A’ for writing and ‘B+’ for math.

36 Credit hours after completion of Spring 2021 semester. Passed AP Bio and AP Chem exams.

I am applying as a Geology Major as my primary degree and if unavailable Cellular and Molecular Biology as my backup major.

I can’t chance you, but if UIUC allows transfers to apply test optional, I would do so. If you are intent on transferring, make sure you have at least one affordable safety on your list. Note that UIUC will likely not offer any financial aid (beyond loans) to an OOS transfer.
