<p>Hi, Im a senior and is planning to apply to the States as an international student.
I know I'm really being unrealistic and is applying to schools where I am not likely to be accepted but please advise me. Thank you in advance. </p>

freshman: 3.75/4.0
sophomore: 3.4/4.0
junior: 3.3/4.0
senior: unknown</p>
<p>weighted gpa: 3.713/4.0
unweighted gpa: 3.35/4.0
(these gpa include only sophomore & junior)</p>
<p>I take 4 IB HL subjects including math & physics and I got 1 C for math last year...that's why my gpa is that bad. In junior year, I honestly did not study and only focused on activities since I wanted to try to various things (i regret it so much now)</p>
<p>My SAT scores are not that good as well. I took SAT in October but haven't got the score yet. The super score is 560/710/620 essay 9= 1890 and CR + M = 1270 My IBT is 113 (28/28/28/27 - R/L/S/W). I'm planning to take 3 SAT subject tests: Japanese w/listening, Math 2 & physics and is predicting to get 800/750+/750. I also have JLPT Lv.1 certificate (Japanese Language Proficienty Test Lv.1 is the most difficult one)</p>
<p>I have some awards:
UKMT intermediate - silver
UKMT senior - silver
IGCSE international math - A
Creative writing junior & senior competition - 2 honorable mentions
Regional math competition - 4th place (but it was a group award)</p>
<p>My ECs:
-school orchestra for 3 years (1st flute)
-school band for 2 years (1st flute)
-MUN for 3 years & THIMUN for 2 years
-volunteer work at a hospital for 35 hours
-flute for 4 years & piano for more than 10 years (learned by myself)
-one act play (1 year as an actor and 1 year as a backstage member)
-another play (1 year as a backstage member)
-musical as one of the backstage leaders
-choir for 1 year
-library assistant (elective) for 3 years</p>
<p>I asked my physics & english teachers to write my recommendation letters. </p>
<p>so...the schools I'm planning to apply are: Umich, Uva, Emory, UIUC, Smith, MSU, U of Wisconsin, Madison. I know they are dream schools to me but please chance me. Thank you so much</p>
