Chance me for UMich, ND, Penn, other top schools

I am currently a junior who is wondering what I can do to increase my chances at top undergrad business schools. Should I increase my involvement in business extracurriculars?

While you have the objective statistics for these schools, your extra-circulars are lacking in that none are directly related to your intended major. If you can find an internship that is tied into business/economics, then your chances of acceptance will be exponentially higher.

@lc2000You are within the admissible range for all of these places. Obviously Yale, Penn and Dartmouth are high reaches for you, as they are for most applicants who are not crazy prodigies or very hooked. You have good chances for the rest.

You are a competitive applicant. You can, however, increase your extracurriculars that are related to business. Try starting a small company. Doesn’t have to be completed, it can just be a private tutoring business that you make a website for to make it more official. Or, intern at a local company this summer, and if it is a rewarding experience, consider writing about it in your essays. Pick a school that you like an apply ED there. Write amazing essays and you could get accepted
