First, UMich uses uwGPA. Can you recalculate your uwGPA in UMich’s way (i.e. no subgrades). Second, Ross is going to change to freshmen admission next year. So it is not call pre-admission anymore.

My school doesn’t give us copies of uwGPA so I don’t have access to it unless I request an official transcript. Based on my grades though, I’d say its in the 3.7-3.9 range

Michigan calculates GPA all A’s as 4.0, all B’s as 3.0 etc (“all” meaning pluses and minuses and so forth)

So I read some articles about the Michigan GPA scale and apparently they don’t do this anymore. They keep your high school GPA.

Be aware that UChicago doesn’t have a business or marketing or finance major for undergrads, although the undergrads are permitted to take classes at Booth. UChicago does place a lot of people in Wall Street, but the students majored in economics or math, not business.

*edit: uwGPA is officially 3.7 and I meant Reading not Writing in my ACT score

@Sonali11 UMich only stopped GPA recalculation for 1 year. It has been resumed several years ago but with some modification. Now they include freshmen grades. So do recalculate your GPA for chancing. If your uwGPA is 3.7, it is near the 25th percentile for UMich. Ross is more competitive than LSA even they will admit more freshmen next year.
