Raising your ACT from 32 to 33 won’t help you almost at all. I have been to many summer programs and have become friends with admission officers at universities such as Duke, UNC, Johns Hopkins, and Penn.

First of all, they all advise not to seek advice from websites such as this one because in truth, they cannot “chance” you.
As far as standardized test scores are concerned, they almost matter the least. As long as you are in the general range of the school (above 30 is fine for the ones you listed) then the scores go away and the rest of your application is evaluated. The MOST important aspect is your essays. SHOW YOUR PERSONALITY don’t just write what you think they want.

I love CC don’t get me wrong, however sometimes SOME of the people can get carried away when it comes to retaking standardized tests.

Your qualifications are great. You’ve shown you’re smart and you do great things for the community. It’s all going to come down to those essays.

Good luck!
