Grades
My unweighted GPA is about a 3.95, and my weighted GPA is about 5.15 (on a 5 point scale).
I graduated 4th out of about 250.

I’d say everything looks great. Youre ecs are wonderful, and your class rank is prime. Only thing that’s a little low is your unweighted GPA. Otherwise, I think you’ll be fine.

Oh, my unweighted GPA is on a 4 point scale. I’m also applying to UVA, Boston College, Duke, UT: Austin, Vassar and Washington and Lee. Chance me on those? I chanced you, btw :)

For Duke, you may need a really strong essay to ensure a good chance. Duke would be a low reach, but with a good essay, it should be a really good shot.

For UT Austin, I’d also say you have a good shot, but being a resident from Texas, I must say getting into the specific school at Austin is harder than just getting into the university itself. Especially if you’re applying for an Honors program at Austin, essays on leadership really count.

you have a fantastic chance!! with your good SAT scores and GPA, I’d say 85-90% chance! Good Luck!! but I think I’ll end up saying… Congrats!!! later when you get your desicion :)
