<p>I'm going to be a senior this coming year and I want to do Electrical Engineering or maybe Chemical Engineering at the College of Science and Engineering(CSE). My stats are as follows:</p>

<p>GPA 3.389 Unweighted, 3.511 Weighted
27 ACT (24 English, 32 Math, 26 Reading, 25 Science, 8/12 essay)
Won the First Robotics State competition, 120 service hours: Volunteered at the hospital and library, Science Bowl, Odyssey of the Mind.</p>

<p>Taken rigorous classes like Accelerated Chemistry and Physics (a two-year course) and Calc. Taken 4 AP classes in previous high school years. Going to take 2 AP classes this year.</p>

<p>GPA is a tad bit on the lower side but strong ACT and very sting EC’s so I say you have a very good chance.</p>

<p>Would it help if my dad went to the U and my brother currently goes there?</p>

<p>That would make you a legacy, and I’m not sure if legacy has a huge impact for non-vy league schools but yes on your application there is (or should be) a section to name any family members who went to that university so they will look at it.</p>
