Chance me for University of Washington Seattle and Seattle University also please.

Okay, I really want to make it into the University of Washington. It has been a dream of mine to attend there, so I would really appreciate it if you would chance me. By the way it's the UW in Seattle.

I have a sister who attends there but she had a 4.0 GPA when she went there, so I can't really look at her to figure my chances because my GPA is not that high!

I have a 3.5 cumulative GPA. My second semester grade for freshman year was really bad because I was working and doing a sport at the same time, so it was a bit difficult for me, but my grades did improve over time. I am currently a Junior and my first semester GPA was a 3.9 and 4.0 GPA second semester.

*I'm an African American female
*GPA: 3.5
*SAT Score: 1450 (I know horrible but I got a panic attact during the test, I'm studying this summer and taking it again in the fall.)

*Did JUDO freshman year and got the "Most Improved Award", and got varsity spot once
*Took Arabic/Quran studies outside of school for 4 years

* Senior year I might be a tutor for Gear-Up at my school
*This summer I will hopefully going to be going to a "Shades of Purple event at UW
*Doing a Medical internship this summer as well

UWA: Reach (aim for 1800+/26+)
Seattle U: Match

You appear to be a well-rounded student. You have great EC’s, but you need to bring your SAT/ACT up. I’m going to be a freshman at U-Dub (in case my name didn’t make it obvious), and I was initially wait-listed. I had a 3.5 UW GPA, and a 3.7 GPA. I took 3 AP classes and maintained at least a B+ in all of them. I was captain of the swim team (I swam all 4 years of high school-varsity) and placed at champs. I was a class officer. I volunteered with the Red Cross and recieved the Volunteer of the Month award. I was in MUN for two years. The reason I was wait-listed (I think) was because of my test scores: I got a 25 on the ACT and a 1780 on the SAT. I appealed my admission decision on the basis that I recieved an ROTC Scholarship to the school. I do not now if I would have been admitted off the wait-list. Good luck!

Bring your SAT score up to around 1900-2000 and you’re solid.
