School Record with UPenn:

Year Apply Admit Enroll
2007 12 4 3
2006 17 4 3

Early Decisions ('06/'07): 4 Apply, 4 Admit

of EDs from '08: Likely ~8

no offense, but from what you provided, which you must realize was minimal testing-wise, your chances don't seem that great.

that's not to say that you probably aren't a good applicant, just from what you've presented nothing great stands out... your ECs are commonplace and your Grades/Scores leave much to be desired.

So what I suggest is study really hard for these standardized tests you have to take (even at the expense of getting a B this semester) because I think that for you especially, these scores will be HUGE.

Good luck!

No Gift men you have a very low chance of entering UPenn. but seriously your test scores are not fantastic and your remaining stats are just okay. You should try some other choices like maybe Wesleyan.

Seems to me that people here at CC are all about SAT scores.

Middle 50% Stats for Penn:

SAT I: Critical Reading 650-750
SAT I: Math 670-780
SAT I: Writing 660-750
ACT Composite 31-34

The only one I'm not within the range for yet is the ACT. I don't see why people get written off with sub-750 scores here.

well it's a reach, but I on the other hand think your 3rd place and 5th place in forensics are pretty cool. I mean, how many people do you think focus on forensics when applying to Penn?

however, your testing scores obviously make it a reach for you. the lower 25% tends to be recruited students like athletes, and your rank isn't that great considering your class has like 130 people.

does it really matter? show your love to penn and work hard on that essay. it's about the only thing you can control now, unless you plan to retake the SATs in October, but you're doing the SAT IIs then.
