I'd appreciate chances for University of Pennsylvania CAS ED. Although, I'm stuck between applying to Penn ED or EA to Georgetown, Boston College, and others. So any opinions on that would be lovely too. Thanks!

Penn is a reach for everyone (although applying ED does help you). Your SAT is very nice, but your grades are a bit low for Penn. Also, you can apply ED to Penn AND apply EA elsewhere, so long as you withdraw those applications if accepted to Penn.

Thanks for the chance! Yeah, my grades did drop a bit in Junior year but I’m doing much better this year, and I got straight A’s in Freshman and Sophomore year. Early schools won’t be able to see my first semester senior grades though :frowning:
And I’m aware that ED/EA is an option, but not for Georgetown or BC. They only allow other EA applications.

I somehow forgot to put NHS in there. We tutor students and help out around the school.
Bump!

bump againnnnnn; anyone?

UPenn ED - reach
Georgetown EA - reach
BC EA - low reach

Junior year grades might hurt you. Maybe an outstanding essay will help. Try schools that match you “application” better like George Washington (good for international relations)

BC EA you should be good for. (local knowledge)
Georgetown EA is a low reach, and I’d say Upenn ED is a reach. 3.82/4 isn’t awful at all, and your weighted GPA is still pretty decent. Put your energy into georgetown, and see what happens…
