I calculated my GPA of sophomore (3.9) and freshman year (3.8)

*Note in the past a lot of people have gotten in from my school with lower ACT scores, they typically accept a 29 and a 3.8 gpa at my school

Are you going to be applying to cas or seas? You would have to add on the dual degree later because I don’t think that there’s an existing dual degree that’s polisci and engineering.

@vkrish most likely SEAS.

I am not sure what impact the college class has. What college class did you get a C in even though you were in the top 10%?

Your stats are on the low side for Penn, so I think retaking the ACT is a good idea. You will also need two subject tests.

Are you taking BC calculus, AP Bio, or AP Chem? That might help.

Honestly, Biochemical engineering will be very challenging without adding a double. If you get in, I would try to get established with that alone, and then consider if you have the additional band width to manage the second major.

@Much2learn it was NYU’s applied psychology department. I am not in any of those classes, and might not be able to take any of them except calc AB next year and AP chem. I thought at upenn if you take act with writing you don’t need sat 2’s? Also am looking into taking the math 2 and french without listening if I do indeed need to take it.
