Chance me for Upenn?

Hi, I want to be chanced for UPenn. Here is my stats:

Caucasian Male, Missouri. Senior.

1860 on old SAT (650 M, 600 W, 610 R)
4 on AP Human Geography
3 on AP US History
1 on AP Physics 1 (not reporting)
2 on AP Chem

UW GPA: 3.1
Weighted GPA: 3.3

Captain of school football team (not recruitable though), involved in my local mission

What are the chances I get into Upenn ED?

Perhaps a branch campus of Penn State. But not uPenn or Penn State Main Campus.

Im not that interested in Penn State…more into University of Pennsylvania (the ivy league). What would be my chance for that and how to I made sure they’re 100%

Don’t bother applying, not in range at all.

I come from a pretty bad background though. My high school’s average GPA is a 3.5, and I had a really bad time in 10th grade which lowered my GPA and sat score (depression). Would I have a chance If I applied for financial aid?

Very very low chance.

@SausageRolla I’m applying to Penn ED as well. I’m a male from Missouri too. Good luck

@SausageRolla Your academic stats are very, very low. At this point it really depends on your extra curriculars and your essays. And unless you can explain why your GPA lowered in 10th grade, (somehow in your essay maybe) then it’s little to no chance.

@SausageRolla what’s up…welcome to cc, where most of the ppl you meet are hyper-competitive, insensitive a**hles (some ppl on here r actually helpful)…but the point is people on these forums are hypo-critical. I can’t deny that your stats are on the low end, but if UPenn is your dream, then go for it. Forget what these ppl say…you control your own destiny. Make sure you bring out your passion in your essays (that may be your only hope). Good luck man

^^ @SausageRolla You stats are indeed are on your low end, but upenn wants to get to know why you had a low gpa and such at your high school. You could provide that situation in an unique essay or in the additional information section. If you extracurriculars are shown to be promising and a good contribution to your personal development, that might be the only way to save you at this point. But if you really want to go to upenn, then give it a try.
