Chance me for USC please!

Hey guys! If you could chance me for USC given my credentials that'd be awesome!

SAT: 2220
GPA: 3.82
Class Rank: Top 15% of class of 600
5 AP Classes: got 4-5 on all the exams
National Merit Commended Scholar

EC:
2000+ hours in varsity marching band
Member of orchestra 2 years
member of concert band 4 years
member of marching band 4 years
Made it to State level Soloist contest on my instrument
A few hours of community service helping out the band

I'm a junior now, so I plan to take a ton of AP classes next year and get my service hours looking better. I'll also be taking Math II and Bio Subject tests. What are my chances at USC looking like for now?

USC: Match/High match

This thread sure moves fast!

For some reasons USC rejected a lot of kids this year from my high school. I don’t think it’s as easy to get in as in the past. It maybe a high match to low reach category.

Ya, you’ll get in. With a 3.72, a 2250, and far less devotion to my activities, I did

Just bumping the thread again

I got into Marshall this year with a bit lower SAT/GPA, but was very dedicated to my outside activities, so I’d say it was a Match/Low Reach.
However, I know people who had higher scores than I did and were just as dedicated to their activities outside of school that were not accepted, so take everything you read here with a grain of salt.

Anyone else have input?

I know someone who tranferred to USC with a GPA of 3.1, you should be accepted in theory based of your grades and activities, but over 60% of USC students are transfers. Keep that in mind, but good luck!

USC - Match

Good grades and EC’s - especially the state level competition. Even with USC, you never know, but those stats should be enough to get you into the school.

Anyone else have an idea?

Definitely a Match

I’d say you have maybe a 70-75% chance of getting in with those stats. Maybe higher. I’m trying for USC next year too with a really freaking low gpa but 2370 SAT, so we’ll see how things go.

USC is very easy to get into. I’d say 45% for you. GPA a little low though.

Iamnotindian, with the acceptance rate at 19% I wouldn’t say its “very easy” to get into.
