Also, instead of just writing the usual match/reach/safety, please give your chances in terms of percentage of getting in, and I’m applying RD to all the colleges I’ve mentioned. I’ve accidentally mentioned Rice twice in the title and post.

BUMP! 10char

To be honest, I have a hard time doing this in the way that you described. Percentage-based predictions for chances at any college are really very difficult to make meaningful, because competitive colleges simply don’t correlate your admission with exactly what grades, SATs, and either combination of activities or number of activities (or any objective measure).

For example, what is a 24% chance at WUSTL supposed to mean? Saying you would be accepted 24% of the time in a randomly selected applicant pool of any size is pretty meaningless, as chances are low that any of these pools are going to be the one you’re facing. Or maybe it means universities assign you a percentage or something and pick numbers out of a hat. But either way, colleges actually have traits in applicants that they’re looking for. Not all of it, or even most of it, is objective.

You’re either accepted or rejected (or waitlisted) in the end, so a someone giving you a 13% or 50% or 94% or 73% chance for some college is probably more likely to confuse you.

UT: Low match if not doing engineering
GT: Match
JHU: High match
Rice: Low Reach
WUSTL: Low reach

BUMP! Also, if you’re unable to chance in terms of percentage, you can write the usual match/reach/safety.

UT: Low match
GT: Match
JHU: High match
Rice: High match
WUSTL: High match

chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1585908-columbia-ed-results-around-corner-last-chance.html</a></p>

Bump! A few more opinions please, guys! Thanks :)

Rice, WUSTL, and JHU are high matches, and the rest are matches/low matches. Best of luck, chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1586584-chance-me-some-schools.html</a></p>

UT-Austin: Low match (I suppose this is non-ranking; in most ranking schools, a 3.95 with IB is top-7% easily)
GA Tech: Low match/Match
JHU: High match
Rice: High match
WUSTL: Reach

Two things to point out:

-ACT Super-score: C35, E36, M35, R34, and S34

I think that the only school on your list that will possibly super-score the ACT is WUSTL.

-Have already paid for Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan (Texas Tomorrow Fund), hence no need of financial aid.

Are you on the public tuition plan, or private tuition plan? If you are on the private tuition plan, you’re correct that you don’t need to worry about tuition expense. Look up your account online to make sure you know which type of plan was purchased.

bump 10char

bummmmpppp

I’m chancing back at request (if I knew how to chance, I wouldn’t have asked for one, lol).

But you seem like a strong applicant. You haven’t cured cancer or solved He-3 fusion or cryogenics, but you do seem to have a set of very strong standardized test scores (and grades), putting no doubt in peoples’ mind that you’re fit for the task at hand. Your varied EC’s, while not many, show that you can lead and interact with people in a variety of situations.

BUMP! Just a few more opinions, guys!

I would say a low match to UT and GT ,but a high match to the others

Did you do any early decision? Wash u accepts mostly early but I think you would be a match. Ga tech is a reach to low match. Good luck.
