I see that you said your soph GPA was prefect and you have a predicted IB set so I’m not exactly sure what year you are. However, that should be irrelevant as your ACT and extracurriculars look great. I’m not sure if they superscore the ACT (I’m assuming no) but that should not have a huge impact.

I’d say that you should be in at both but, then again, I’m not too familiar with Texas schools and just briefly looked up some admissions stats.

The system is somewhat different here. I was in a different curriculum back in sophomore year, and I got an actual GPA out of 10. The IB program doesn’t award a GPA as such, so the predicted grades are considered the equivalents. Also, my school doesn’t rank, so my counselor has sent the colleges non ranking letters.

UT- Be fairly surprised if you’re rejected.

Your grades are good. Your ECs are not amazing, but seem sufficient. Of the 50% that got in to UT, ~75% got below a 31 on the ACT, and you have a 34. Blindly considering this, you have far better than a 50% chance.

That is just because of the 7% rule. I had friends sending in 1200 composites to UT because it “does not matter”. So I think their test scores percentage are a bit screwed because of this.
