<p>First of all.. this is my first post, i just joined! I've been lurking around this forum for a while but just decided to make an account. So.. Hi Everyone :)!</p>
<p>Female, Puerto Rican, PA, no financial aid.</p>
<p>I go to a private school right outside of Philly with very strong academics. (example: 14/100 kids last year went on to the ivies)
There are no rankings nor GPAs and AP courses aren't offered. I have taken the most difficult tracks possible at my school. In the context of my school, I can comfortably say that I'm in the top 10% of my class. I did a rough estimate of my GPA (or tried to) and it's around a 3.7 (not taking into account adv and non-adv classes.)</p>
<p>SAT I: CR 700, M 690, W 780 (probably going to retake it)
SAT II: Lit 720, Span 670 (didn't study for spanish, it should end up around 750)</p>
<p>Freshman

World History: A
Latin II Adv: B+
Science (it's weird at my school): A-
Geo Adv: B</p>
<p>Sophomore

Chem I Adv (worst experience of my life): B-
Algebra II/Pre-Calculus (adv course): B+</p>
<p>Junior
American Lit: A-
US History: A-
Spanish III Adv: A-
Calculus I Adv: B
Physics I Adv: A-
Music History: A</p>
<p>Senior:
Western Lit
Adv Modern European History
Capitalism and Consumption (Hist Course)
Spanish Lit I Adv (Span AP equivalent)
Statistics Adv
Physics II Adv</p>
<p>With my languages, I took Latin up to a 3/4 year equivalent, and then jumped into 3rd year Spanish and will be taking it so that it's as if I've been taking it for 4 years. So it's kinda like i took 2 languages for 4 years.</p>
<p>Here are my main commitments, there are others.. but I'll keep it relevant!
Student Council Vice President
Head Delegate of Model UN Team (trying to get another Conference added to our circuit)
Captain of Debate Team (we'll be joining Nat'l Forensics League this year)
Co-Captain of the Varsity Field Hockey Team
Mock Trial</p>
<p>I am definitely a "words person" (as my scores/classes show) and definitely counting on/expecting my essays to help me out.</p>
<p>Top Choices: UVA, JHU, Georgetown (EA)
As well as: Penn, PSU (Regular and Honors) (EA), William & Mary, American, UMichigan (EA), Duke, UNC and Rice (legacy)... and a few others.
Do these look right-ish?</p>
<p>Thank you!</p>
