<p>I am a freshman at NAU (Norther Arizona University) applying out-of-state for the fall 2014 year at UVA.</p>

<p>Im an english major,</p>

<p>I have a 2.73 high school gap, with a 21 ACT
Im dyslexic and have been to 14 school, which i discuss on my common app essay.</p>

<p>If i get a 3.45 or 3.5 my freshman year, what are my chances at getting into UVA. Its my dream school but i want to know if i need a back up plan. Can i get excited or is the competition a little higher up?

<p>To be blunt, the competition is very tough for UVA. Your test scores and GPA are simply too below their standards, even if you are dyslexic. I’d suggest a more realistic school.</p>
