Hey everyone,

So I'm well aware that decision day is coming up, but for the past week I've been extremely stressed about whether I'd be able to get into University of Virginia.
I was hoping that some of you could give me your opinions.

Firstly, just a bit of background about my application.
I applied to UVA as instate as my family does own a house and pay taxes in Virginia, however I study internationally in the UAE. If anything, I'd say this would work in my favor as I have less competition in my region while I am still classified as an in-state student (who have a much higher acceptance rate than out of state) .
I also have a sibling who currently attends UVA (legacy?).

So, some brief characteristics about my time in high school:
Grades
I currently have a 3.6 cumulative which I am well aware is slightly lower than most acceptances to UVA however, I've had an upward trend in my sophmore through senior years. My freshman GPA was not reflective of me as a student.
Since sophmore year I've been on high honor roll (3.7+GPA)

Edit: I'm currently taking the IB diploma program and my predicted score was 40 (which does not necessarily reflect my GPA)

SAT scores
I received an 1960 (M 700 W 630 R 630)

EC
I've done a few extra curricular activities, and the things that I have done I've been extremely committed to.
JV basketball - 9th and 10th grade (Captain in 10th)
Varsity Basketball - 11th and 12th grade (Captain in 12th)
Model United Nations - delegate who travelled to an internationally hosted conference
UNICEF - Treasurer in my senior year
Tutoring - I've been a tutor for chemistry since 10th grade

I also won a school-wide sponsored business (marketing) competition.

Also, one of the main things that I hope to distinguish me from other applicants is an internship I did at a prominent company. The CEO of said company wrote me a letter of rec which I sent off with my applications.

I'd really appreciate any feedback you could offer. I tried to keep everything concise so if you need more information, please feel free to ask.
Thanks.
