Chance me for Wake Forest and others.

Hello,
I was wondering if you could chance me on a few schools. My scores do not reflect me whatsoever. My grades were low during my freshman and slightly increased sophomore year, however my junior year I really tried in school and did significantly better. I also had a steady increase in the difficulty of my classes. I have known for a long time that I want to major in business however I am not 100% on which sector yet. Outside of school I started a Sports News website that achieved profitability in 4 months and had 40 writers and editors in that 4 month period. I also started working on a business to business commerce website that will be completed in about 8 months. My school profile is below, and the school I would like to be chanced for. Thank you.

I understand that the schools below are reaches but I am trying to find out where I have a chance.

Schools:
Wake Forest:
Emory:
Babson;
Michigan:
University of Chicago
Cornell:
MIddlebury:

NYU:

Are there any other good schools that you could recommend that you think I could get into.

wake forest- reach
emory- reach
babson- no idea
michigan- reach
UChicago- high reach
cornell- reach
Middlebury- no idea
NYU- reach

Sorry, but these schools are reaches for you :frowning: These schools are very hard to get into, even for the most qualified students in America. I would still apply to the ones you’re really passionate about, even if your chances are low. I wish you all of the luck in your college search.

I definitely think that the schools you listed are reaches, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pick a few of them to apply to! They are great schools. I can help you more with other schools that are similar if you tell me what you’re interested in.
wake/ middlebury - colgate, richmond, bucknell, elon, davidson/ puget sound (a little small)
emory/NYU - USC, UMiami, tulane, boston college, university of boston, Georgia Tech
babson- maybe boston college or boston university (I’m not very familiar with this school… sorry), maybe Bowdoin or Bates
Michigan- UTexas, Indiana, Gerorgia
UChicago/ Cornell- similar to Northwestern and Wash U but those would still be reaches

Just let me know what major and what size school you’re interested in and I can help a lot more. Also, let me know what you definitely want in a school and what you definitely don’t want.

I honestly don’t think you have a shot at any of those schools. Whats your major? I could definitely suggest some schools based off of that

Based on your grades and scores I would recommend Indiana University (ranked #8 in Business) and University of Richmond. You will definitely get into Indiana but may not get much financial aid as they are a State school and you’re not from Indiana. Richmond has a solid business program, you have a better shot of getting in than the schools above and they have a very healthy endowment and are generous with aid. Also excellent school by the way.

Babson also has an excellent business school, especially in Entrepreneurship.

Richmond is as hard to get into as Wake Forest. Bowdoin is as hard to get into as most of the schools on the list. UChicago is brutally tough – I’m not sure you would WANT to get in.
