Early Decision to Wake Forest?

Hi everyone,
Chance me? I'm planning on applying to Wake Forest Early Decision but I'm not sure if I should do that. I'm a junior 3.45 GPA out of 4.6, I think that's about a 2.9 on a 4.0 scale. Wake is a reach and I know that, but it would be amazing if I got accepted there. Class rank: top 40%. SATs 1630 out of 2400, 1020 out of 1600. Getting my new scores back on thursday, shooting for an 1800 out of 2400, 1200 out of 1600. I will be taking the ACTs in June. I'll list my info, as well as the other schools I am applying to.

GPA: 3.45 out of 4.6

Other info:

It'd be awesome if you could tell me my chances of getting in. I've done my research by I think I have high hopes for myself, which isn't a good thing. Thank you!

I would say rejection, get your SAT score up since your GPA isnt too appealing.

Thanks for your honesty! Haha. I looked into my GPA and it’s a 3.45 out of 4 not 4.6, I made a mistake

I plan on applying to Wake ED next year too. To me, your chances are not low because Wake does not require standardized test scores but they arent high either. If I were you, I would not submit them. Your EC’s look good because you have more breadth but Wake likes to see that you have focused on a certain few that you are passionate about rather than a billion.

Do you go to public school?

also, what AP classes have you taken/plan to take next year?

I go to public school and I plan on taking AP Psych, AP Gov, and AP Bio possibly. And I’ve taken honors Spanish.

How about if you look-up the admitted profile of admitted Wake Forest Students. That information should be available on their website or in the school’s factsheet.

Then come back here with a “here’s who I am” and a “here’s the percentage of students with my profile that they accept”.

My recommendation is that you should make sure you’re applying to other schools.
