Chance me, freaking out on where I can go?!?!

Hi Im a rising senior at a California charter school and would like to major in Finance. Due to a bad family situation at home (3 deaths in under a year) I messed up my junior year with a 2.9 GPA and a D. This brings my cumulitive down to a 3.1. I also have an 1840 SAT (680cr,630m,530w)
My EC's
4 years first robotics cofounded a team and was a lead twice and cofounding a second team this year
4 years science club 1 year as treasurer and 1 as president
1 year film club
1 year football
2 years golf
Spent months creating a charity haunted house to enefit breast cancer

I also took and aced 2 classes and my local college and am taking another class or 2 this fall

If it helps I will be the first in my family to go to college
I am a white male and although we dont have much money my parents are high income so that may hurt
I will be getting good letters of rec and just got my first job (construction company)

So far my list of schools is as follows
Reach- Ut Austin and Fordham
Target- University of Wisconsin Madison and University of Illinois Urbana Champaign
Safety - Indiana University Bloomington and Baruch University

Could you tell me if these are good schools to reach for or if I should be reaching higher or lower and what my chances are. If you could advise me on other good schools I would very much appreciate it.

i think Illinois Urbana Champaign should be reach. Fordham should be a target. IUB might also be a target not a safety. I think you could push BU, washington university at Seattle. Since you live in California, you should definately apply to the Uc’s but not berkely or ucla, the other ones should be pretty good low reach, high match school.s
