Columbia SEAS (HEOP/NOP) - reach
Cornell Engineering (HEOP/NOP) - reach
MIT (I always wanted to go here since I was little so applied for the hell of it) - reach
Cooper Union Engineering - reach (idk much about this school, I’ve just heard its really hard to get in)
Macaulay Honors College @ City College- in (again, idk this college)
Manhattan College - in
NYU Polytech - idk

Your SATs and GPA are obviously sup-par for the Ivies and MIT, but you seem to have a lot of factors that work in your favor (being Latino, lower-income family, etc.) Also, did you write your essay about your condition? If so, I think that may work in your favor as well.

In sum, don’t feel discouraged to apply to some of these intense schools. The Ivies reject individuals with 2400 SATs and accept people with sub-2000 scores all the time.

Thanks for all the words of encouragement! Should I be praying for Cooper? Seems to me its the best school that I have any REAL chance of getting into.
