I got a question, does UC look at freshment grade? do they look at only 10th and 11 grade or they consider all year?
I have a Weighted GPA 3.6 and 3.8 10th grade (1st and 2nd semester)
Weighted GPA 3.67 and 4.0 11th grade (1st and 2nd semester)
SAT 1920
Chinese Subject test 780
Math IIC 720
Biology subject test 680

You didn’t provide any schools you wanted to go to. As to your question: UC’s do not look at freshman year for calculating GPA.

Your GPA is pretty weak: 3.77 Weighted

Most UC’s prefer weighted GPAs over 4.

As for the SAT score, it’s nothing remarkable but it can’t harm you unless you are considering something like a higher end UC such as UCLA or UCB (where 2100+ would make you more secure).

ECs: Sorry man. I’ll be blunt: They need much improvement. UC’s want to see leadership, but just joining a club w/o being an officer after 3 years shows inactivity. Community basketball doesn’t really count for EC unless you can be more specific, and 1 year of band isn’t a strong perk. Hours really don’t mean much unless they are part of a cause you find worthy and can be used in an essay.

If you are looking for a midrange UC, you have a lot of chances, especially with 5 passed courses. You have a good shot at UCR/UCSC, a decent chance at UCD/UCSF and maybe even UCSD. UCLA and UCB are a bit out of your league if that’s what you were looking for.

I am trying to get in to UCSD and UCI
My leadership i got VP for club Formosa and Activity coordinator for club young republican
As for the basketball team, its a team for the gym and the team won first place once with a trophy
