Honors, Recognitions, Awards, Programs (Kinda weak right now):

I guess being the President of BETA Club?

Our school doesn't really give awards aside from Most Improved Student which usually goes to kids who were suffering but then improved their grades

Other:
- I referee youth soccer games, which my teacher claims is an excellent demonstration of leadership. Is that accurate? Will that look good on a college application.

In my freshman year I really screwed up and got a B in a joke class. The class was called Freshman Seminar and was mandatory for all freshmen. I did not take it seriously and neglected to turn in a major project. Unfortunately, this lowered by grade to a B. I would be #1 in my class if it weren't for this mishap. However, I have made straight A's since then and plan to make straight A's my senior year. Will this blunder hinder my chances at getting into my schools of choice?

My College List:
UNC (Top Choice)
University of Chicago
Duke University
Wake Forest
Brown (I know this is a HUGE stretch!)
ECU (Most likely my safety)
UVA
Georgia (Honors Program)
William and Mary
Emory

Thanks for all of the help!

UNC- safety
UChicago-Reach
Duke- high target/low reach
WF- low target
Brown- Reach
ECU- BIG safety
UVA- high target
Georgia (honors)- safety
william&mary- target
emory- high target

I can't figure out how to edit the first post, but my Weighted GPA will actually rise to 4.89 by the end of this year. I'm not sure if that makes any difference, but I realized I miscalculated it.

Wow, I'm glad UNC is a safety! Yeah, I don't have any true interest in going to ECU. I will probably apply to UNC-Asheville instead, just to see how much money I can get. (I hope that didn't sound cocky, I wasn't attempting to be.)

Bump

SAT scores come out tomorrow! Hopefully they will give me a better idea on where to apply.

SAT Scores In: 2110/2400

I hit my target, but I am going to retake. Hopefully my retake will take me into the 2200 range.
