<p>make sure your essays are good! i know a kid with a 2400 who was rejected from Dartmouth yesterday…</p>

<p>Can Canadians be in the National Merit Competition? I’m not saying you aren’t, I’m just curious–Canada isn’t part of the USA, which is what I think of when I think of the term “National.”</p>

<p>Essays/Recs are super important. As is rank. So if you have those then I think you have as good a chance as anyone here!</p>

<p>Mega: How can Darthmouth tell peeps they have been rejected so early?
And yes I know a good number of 2400’s who have been rejected. If you get into Yale, it is because of your academics. </p>
