I really love Brown
I think I will have great teacher recs
I’ve won several awards at school

you’re good

Did you only take 2 AP’s through your 4 years in highschool? And how many AP’s does your school offer

well my school doesn’t offer APs until junior year and students aren’t expected to take every AP class offered. I’m taking another two APs this year.

My school only has 2 APs. Man, I hope that doesn’t kill my chances…

yeah my school doesn’t offer all that many either… but there’s nothing we can do about that…

To those above:

It doesn’t matter. I will have graduated high school with only 3 AP’s because we’re only allowed to take them senior year and are limited to 3. But I also attend the most prestigious private school in my city. (32% NMSF, etc. etc.) The rigor of our “normal” classes is probably higher than “AP” classes at nearby publics

self-study ap courses and take the exams

There’s no need to self-study and take APs. As long as your counselor makes clear that your school only offers two/three and you’ve taken the most rigorous course-load you could have, admissions officers will be satisfied.
