•ECs:
-CISV (2017): An international 2-week camp in which we did activities regarding world problems and reflected on them. The problems could be international or specific to one of the countries present. We had groups in which we planned the activities so we would all come up with the idea and the message and would do other group’s activities. We were also to collectively decide the camp schedule (wake up time, lunch time, etc.)
-Volleyball (both in school and outside of school): in school since 2008-present and outside of school from 2015-2018. In the club outside of school I played the match that made up move a category up (2017). And in school I was sub captain of the Senior Volleyball Team, went to “Ade Norte-Sur” in 2019 (a competition involving schools of my area that are divided in the “South” and “North” teams. Each region selects the best players from all the schools of their region and build a team to play agains the other region) and participated in a two-week long trip to the UK in which we played agains schools and clubs.
-Private Guitar Lessons (2016-present)
-Prefect in the Body of Captains and Prefects of my school: A body of 14 selected seniors that present strong leadership skills and are highly responsible that organizes a lot of the school’s major activities, along with assemblies, new projects and are a link between the students and the heads of the school.
-Padrinazgo: seniors are grouped with a students who just recently entered secondary school to help and guide them through the shift and provide advice. There are frequent meetings during lunch.
-Salta (2018): the school offers students the possibility to apply to go to a week long solidarity trip in the province of Salta. The selected students help a group of Wichis (a native group) who are neglected by the state. We bring resources but mostly and most importantly our time. We paint and repair the school or help them however they need it. We help the teachers with the kids, teach the lower grades and play with the kids during recess. It is a very beautiful and fulfilling experience.
-Exploring Musicals (Musical Theatre) (2019-present): participated in our high school productions of In the Heights in which I played Nina (lead) and in 9 to 5 in which I will play Violet (lead).
- Go Broadway (2020) (don’t know if I should include this, advice?): a two-week long musical theatre program in NYC. We took practical, theoretical and informational classes from professionals and broadway stars at Open Jar Studios and attended classes at Broadway Dance Studio.
Sorry if this was kinda long and thank you for your help!
