Chance me: JMU / UBC

I'm thinking about applying to University of British Columbia and James Madison University (far away from each other I know, I've got family in both places though), what are my chances?

GPA
9 : 3.3
10 : 2.7
11: 3.0
12 : probably 3.5 - 4.0

ACT : 31

APs : 4 in WorldH & U.S. H ; 5 in Enviro Science. Taking AP Micro/Macro Econ and Gov this year.

ECs : Football grades 9 and 10, none junior year, and a part time job through senior year

Also I was expelled freshman year for possession K2 (synthetic weed) in school, allowed to come back the next year, and over the course of highschool have completely changed my habits, grades and friends for the better.

JMU: Match
UBC: High match

how is UBC a high match, his GPA isn’t that high throughout his highschool nor are the amount of ECs that he takes

Many UBC admits didn’t do that many ECs (2 years of a sport, a part-time job through senior year is seemingly normal there) but a high match means that his chances are estimated to be 20-40%. I know that the GPA is the hole, but Parchment indicated that there were UBC admits at 2.8-3.0 UW with SAT scores in the 2000 range (and a 31 on the ACT is ~2100).

oh ok, thanks for clarifying for me
