Please be honest! If there’s anything else you think I could do to improve my chances, please let me know! Thank you so much.

I don’t chance but I can tell you that Duke must be considered a reach for any unhooked applicant.

@happy1 so I’ve heard, but CollegeBoard calculator has it as a match school for me

IMO CollegeBoard is in error. Duke has a single digit acceptance rate and cannot be considered a match for any unhooked applicant. Look at the class profile for yourself and decide. https://admissions.duke.edu/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Duke-2023-Class-Profile.pdf

Are you in state for Michigan? Can you afford these schools?

@happy1 honestly, I’m not definite i’ll apply… it’s honestly the bottom of my list and the most expensive as well so…

@dentmom4 , yes Umich is in state for me. ND would be tough, so any financial aid i get would be a huge factor in my consideration between these two schools. If ND doesn’t work out, Umich is my second choice.

Do you have any thoughts on my chances?

I also don’t chance, too many variables. Being in state is a benefit, nail your essay, show them love.
