Northwestern ED- High Match
UNC- Low Match
Tufts- High Match
Emory- Low Reach
Georgetown- Low Reach
McGill- Match
Being w legacy will help a lot and both Emory and Tufts have ED2. That might interest you if you don’t get in to NWU.

Hmm… don’t know why @VANDEMORY1342 thinks Tufts is a high match while Emory is a low reach when Tufts’ acceptance rate is 10% lower. Emory is a high match; Tufts and Georgetown are reaches.

@potentialtransfer2018 what about NU?

I personally think there isn’t a big difference between Emory’s 21% and Tufts 15% . However the difference in SAT scores matter more in my opinion with Emory’s 1475 and Tufts 1445. A 30 point difference is significant especially considering that Tufts superscores both SAT and ACT while Emory and GTown do not. This is all class of 2021 data of course. Same logic used with GTown.
Also if you show a lot of interest at all of these schools equally your chances rises the most with Tufts. All of that was considered in my chance prediction.

@VANDEMORY1342 don’t know where you’re getting your info from… Emory directly states in its admissions policies that it does superscore the SAT. And Emory’s overall acceptance rate this year was 22%; Tufts’ was 14.8%. Because Tufts relies so heavily on its supplements for admissions decisions, it becomes a reach in the way that you must be a great writer to get in – it’s not always about the SAT/ACT scores (although the averages are both quite high).

@glblhealthnerd You will have a better chance at NU ED with legacy than RD at Tufts or GT to put it into perspective.

It says right there that Tufts superscores the SAT and ACT.
When I said that earlier I was just talking about the ACT as all schools superscore the SAT. Emory does not.

OP is an excellent candidate and applying ED and Legacy should make her an even stronger one. I don’t think she will need to go to her RD list, but if she does, in my experience Tufts has been a lot harder to get into than Emory - at least from our high school. However, both are equally excellent schools and OP would be a great candidate at both. I think Emory is a match and Tufts is low reach.
